‘Ilima Marie Felipe Gause
‘Ilima Marie Felipe Gause, born on April 12, 2025, at 5:30 a.m., peacefully passed away in her parent’s arms at Wilcox Memorial Hospital 6 hours later.
‘Ilima Marie was the daughter of Sheila Marie Felipe and James Gause Jr. of Koloa.
She was the answer to their prayers, and they waited for her birth with joyful expectation. She was loved by all who followed her IVF journey and will be greatly missed.
A private celebration of life will be held in her honor.
Borthwick Kauai Mortuary assisted the family with arrangements.
Rudolph (Rudy) Schumacher
Rudolph (Rudy) Schumacher passed away at the age of 81 in Las Vegas, Nevada.
He was preceded in death by his parents Abigail Ku and Walter A.H.H. Schumacher, brother Walter Schumacher, sisters Clara Frateceli, Charlotte Sahara, Rose Keahi and Gladys Carter.
He is survived by his wife Conchita F. Schumacher, stepchildren Annajean Hepa, Shirleyann F. Estenzo, Nelson L. Estenzo Jr., Eric L. Estenzo, nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
A service will be held on Tuesday, April 29, 2025, at the Lutheran Church in Lihue. Viewing begins at 9 a.m., followed by service at 9:30 a.m.
