LIHUE — The Kapaa High School boys soccer earned the Central Pacific Bank Kauai Interscholastic Federation championship in its division for 2025.
However, Waimea High School boys soccer Coach Lanell Miyamoto was voted to the Coach of the Year position in the KIF Soccer All Stars, and Warrior middle Kamalei Dasalia-Mundon was voted to one of three Midfield all-star spots as well as Player of the Year.
In the Girls Division arena, Kauai High School girls finished the 2025 season as CPB KIF champions, and the Red Raiders’ Coach Chance Bukoski was voted Coach of the Year.
Red Raider senior Coral Turner was voted to one of three Midfield slots, and was named Player of the Year.
During voting for the Boys All Stars, Kapaa received nine of the available 14 positions, including Kamalei Dasalia-Mundon, currently the libero for boys volleyball, getting Player of the Year. Waimea High School picked up four spots, including Coach of the Year with Lanell Miyamoto, and Island School earned one spot with Ikaika Havas securing a Defender spot.
In Girls All Stars voting, Kauai High School, the reigning CPB KIF champions that advanced to the Hawaii High School Athletic Association Division II state games, secured eight of the available 14 slots, including Chance Bukoshi getting Coach of the Year, and Coral Turner securing votes in Midfield, and Player of the Year.
Waimea High School secured voting for three positions, including the sole goalkeeper spot with Olivia Nudd.
Island School also secured three voting spots, included all of the Utility seats.
Kapaa High School girls finished with voting in two spots.
