Kudos and congratulations, Pastor John and Rhonda Cabello, and the many, many volunteer hands at Hope Collective for hosting thousands of people to the return of the helicopter Easter Egg drop … and good job with the helicopter navigating in the wind, Keoni Garma!

Even Melissa McFerrin Warrack remembers the feeling from when she participated when Finnegan was still a young lad. And how about all those meal distributions when Hope Collective partnered with the Kauai Police Department? Mahalo, and Happy Easter, Pastor John and Rhonda!
Kudos to Dr. Janet Berreman and the Kauai District Health Office on another successful Open House (who were the Maui people that visited and looked for ideas to set up a similar event on the Valley Isle?) that reminded me the graduations are around the corner.
Kauai Community College celebrates its commencement (yes, the Early College students are part of this) on May 16 … the college’s new nurses pin on May 17 at the KCC Performing Arts Center. That means the high schools (the public ones) have their graduations on May 23. Kapaa High School is at the Bryan J. Baptiste Sports Park stadium (next Thursday is the girls flag football championships!), Kauai High School is at the Vidinha Stadium soccer fields (Visitor Industry Charity Walk is coming up, May 3!), and Waimea High School is walking at the Hanapepe Stadium this year.
