LIHUE – In observance of the Good Friday holiday, County of Kauai offices will be closed on April 18.
Closures also include the following facilities on April 18:
• all neighborhood centers
• all refuse transfer stations
• the Kekaha Landfill
• the Puhi Metals Recycling Center
• Reynold’s Recycling, the Lihue HI5 Redemption Center; the HI5 Koloa Redemption Center
• the Waimea and Kapaa swimming pools
All refuse transfer stations and the landfill will resume operations on April 19.
Kauai Community Recycling Services (KCRS) in Kilauea and Kapaa will remain open.
The schedule for residential refuse pick-up will remain unchanged.
The Kauai Bus will be operating on its current daily schedule.
Regular business hours for county offices and services will resume on April 21.
