Over at Kukui Grove, Melissa McFerrin Warrack said there are more than 300 keiki registered for free Easter goodie that’s going to be distributed during the Spring Festival at the shopping center. Sheila Bradley Books and more (Paper Pie sounds more catchy) will be open a coupke doors down from Kauai Ocean Discovery, and the Easter Bunny (at least one of them) will be hopping around and with all thos Easter Egg shoppers.
The Downtown Lihue Night Market (Thomas Noyes said they’ll be riding from Kalena Park — don’t forget to fill out that online survey — with the Bikes on Rice from 4:30 p.m. on Saturday) will be happening from 4 p.m. (good, because Kauai Intersch0lastic Federation boys volleyball games start from 6:30 p.m. at the Wilcox Gymnasium at the Island School campus).
And, Sunday? There’s the Beach House Craft Fair (does Edwin Vea play the ukulele?) that always packs the yard fronting the Beach House restaurant from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
And, from 11 a.m., the Kauai Ukulele Festival kicks off at the Kukui Grove Center with Aldrinne Guerrero (I guess he’s not doing the Downtown Lihue event) and his ukulele buddies.
