KALAHEO – The Department of Water and contractor, Kaiwa Construction Inc., have scheduled a water service shutdown on a portion of Puu Road, between Papalina Road and Puu Kulana Place in Kalaheo to perform water system improvements. The water service shutdown will begin on Wednesday, April 16 at 9 a.m. and will conclude at 3 p.m, weather permitting.

Customers located in the designated service area are advised to prepare for the water service shutdown by taking the following steps:
Store water to meet your needs until water service can be safely restored.
Notify neighbors, family and friends of the water service shutdown.
Those with faulty water heaters should ensure that water heaters do not empty during the shutdown.
