ELEELE – The Department of Public Works Wastewater Management Division and its contractor, Insituform Technologies, announces lane closures for portions of Eleele April 4-11.
Closures are necessary for crews to perform pavement striping work.
Striping work will be performed in the following areas, from today to April 11, from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.:
• Eleele Road, from the intersection at Kaumualii Highway to just past the intersection of Melemele Road to Eleele Road.
• Melemele Road, from the intersection of Eleele Road to 4580 Melemele Road.
• Uliuli Road, between Akala Road and Ulaula Road.
In addition, sewer work is scheduled for the Eleele subdivision sewer system during the same days and times.
Work will be performed in various easement locations throughout Eleele. No lane closures are necessary, but work trucks will be parked in front of homes and roads for the duration of the work.
Drivers are asked to exercise caution and drive slowly when commuting through the work area. Motorists should drive with caution, expect delays, and adjust their travel times as needed.
