Prince Kuhio Day closures

LIHUE — In observance of the upcoming Prince Kuhio Day Holiday, many offices and establishments will be closed on Wednesday, March 26.

Below is a list of the premises and services that will be closed in observance of the state holiday.

• County of Kauai offices will be closed.

• The Kekaha Landfill will be closed.

• All neighborhood centers will be closed.

• All refuse transfer stations will be closed. HI5 Redemption Centers will be closed except Kapaa.

• The Puhi Metals Recycling Center will be closed.

• The Waimea and Kapaa swimming pools will be closed.

Trash pickup schedules will not change. The Kauai Bus will be operating on its regular schedule.

Regular business hours for county offices and services will resume on Thursday, March 27. Residents can visit, kauai.gov/HI5 for further location information.
