WAILUA — This Spring Break swap the phones for saddles as the Horsemanship and Riding Camp begins this week.
Healing Horses Kauai (HHK) is thrilled to begin Spring Break with its horsemanship and equestrian riding classes along with games, and arts/ crafts for children four to eighteen.
The HHK camp offers a fun-filled equestrian adventure in a safe and educational environment where children can learn how to care for a horse while learning about equine therapy. In addition, the children will learn the art of riding, vaulting, and horsemanship where students can increase their strength, flexibility, and social skills.
HHK camp begins this Spring Break on Monday, March 17, at 8:45 a.m., and will conclude on Friday, March 21, at 2 p.m.
The children are encouraged to bring a bag of lunch, plenty of water, long pants, covered-toe shoes, a hat, and sunscreen.
Availability is still available, parents or guardians interested in signing up their children can visit, healinghorseskauai.org/camp-terms-conditions. Individuals interested in volunteering or donating to HHK can visit, healinghorseskauai.org.
