LIHUE — The Department of Parks and Recreation announces this year’s Spring Fun program will run from March 18 to March 22. The program will include Poolooza events and Pop Up &Play days. The program is at no cost, and no registration is required.
The Poolooza events will be held at the Kapa‘a and Waimea swimming pools from March 18 to March 22, from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Activities include Marco Polo, a treasure hunt, watermelon ball, and other pool games. These events are open to children ages 5 to 12. A parent or guardian must accompany all children to participate in any activities.

The Pop-Up &Play will be held at Isenberg Park on Tuesday, March 18, and Thursday, March 20. Each day, there will be two sessions. Session 1 will occur from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., and Session 2 from 1 to 3 p.m.
Both sessions will include arts and crafts, card games, board games, and sports. Session 1 will feature pickleball, and Session 2 will feature basketball. These events are open to children ages 5 to 14. Pop-Up &Play sessions are limited to one session per participant.
