Menehune wahine, Kauai kane fill Wrestling All-Stars
LIHUE — Waimea High School wahine wrestlers took up seven spots of 12 aeats on the Girls Wrestling All-Stars, and Kauai High School boys filled nine of the 14 spots on the Boys Wrestling All-Stars that was released on Wednesday.
Despite the strong showing on the KIF all-star listing, the Kauai High School boys finished the state competition tied for 46th place with Kapaa High School. Waimea High School boys finished 42nd.
In the girls’ arena, Kauai High School and Waimea High School girls finished tied for 42nd place followed by the Kapaa girls tying with Damien for 44th place.
