LIHUE — The Kauai Interscholastic Federation on Tuesday released the all stars for both the Girls and Boys Basketball programs.

Natalie Mata, coach for the Waimea High School program, was chosen Coach of the Year, and Kapaa High School senior Taira Samiano earned Player of the Year honors.
Waimea High School girls, the Central Pacific Bank KIF champions, placed two players on the all stars, including Menehune senior Hailey Mata, and Katelyn Constantino.
Island School received two berths with Lady Voyager junior Kailea Sokau-Masulit, and freshman Breyanna Alfonso.
Kauai High School guard Jazlyn Corpuz represented the Red Raiders on the girls basketball all stars.
Ipo Yoshioka, coach for the Kauai High School boys basketball program, earned Coach of Year voting for the Boys Basketball all stars.
Austin Green, following a slow scoring start in the KIF season, blossomed to earn Player of the Year honors.
Kauai High School that finished as the CPB KIF champions, placed two Red Raiders — senior Cameren Holt-Ho, and senior Reese Jenkins — on the boys basketball all stars.
Kapaa High School senior guard Reimel Camacho joined Green on the boys all stars along with Garrett Hadley of Island School, and Mar Ruiz of the Menehune.
