The Christmas Ohana Night is tonight (did you see that fancy sign?) starting from 4:30 p.m. at the Grove Farm Homesteads Museum with some ol’ style (the term is “Plantation Days”) holiday fun, and “yummy” hot chocolate, and possibly a visit by Santa and Mrs. Claus.

Congratulations, Drs. Paul and Janie Yoo on the celebration of their new offices in the former Kukui Grove Cinema building! Dr. Janie said they will be helping when the three-day free dental clinic opens today at the Island Comfort on Rice Street. Taking a break on Saturday, the clinic is also open on Sunday and Monday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on a first come, first served basis. No identification or insurance is required … if you need dental work, just come.
This weekend is Greg Shepherd’s “A Classical Christmas” concert at the St. Michael’s and All Angels Church for fans of classical music. On the flip side, Kamahao Haumea Thronas is hosting his “Kalikimaka with Kamahao” concert for those whose inclination is Hawaiiana at the Outrigger Kauai Beach Resort that feature the indoor holiday decorating spearheaded by Robert Ancheta.
The last Wailua Bay Creators Fair (it’s on the grounds of the Hilton Garden Inn at Wailua Bay) of 2024 is this Sunday … just look for all the tents.
And, on the final weekend before Christmas, Mele Makeke (it’s in the former Macy’s Mens building) is open for five straight days starting Thursday for the for the final shopping push … check back for all those expected off-island vendors.
