KOLOA — Kim Medeiros was awarded the Corey’s Maintenance buckle, and the saddle donated by Capt. Andy’s Sailing for being selected the Kauai All Girl Rodeo Association All Around Cowgirls for the year.
En route to her All Around Cowgirl title, Medeiros also finished the year tops in the Barrel Racing, First D, Goat Tying, and was the top Heeler in Breakaway Roping.
“We are so happy and proud of all of our cowgirls celebrating 25 years of women who love to rodeo,” said Christy Castillo, the KAGRA recording secretary.
Taylor Langtad, finishing tops in the Pole Bending, First D, Pole Bending, Second D, and tops in the Dally Team Roping, Heading, earned the Reserve All Around Cowgirl honor.
Langtad also picked up runner-up positions in the Barrel Racing, First D, Barrel Racing, Second D, Goat Tying, and third place in the Dally Team, Heeling category.
