Jerry June Louis Sr.
Jerry June Louis Sr., of Hanapepe Heights, passed away on Nov. 5, 2024, at the age of 90. He was born on June 2, 1934, in Eleele, and worked as a welder and rancher for McBryde Sugar Company.
He was preceded in passing by his children Linda Kanahele, Joseph Taboniar Jr., parents Marion and Marie Louis, siblings Herman Louis, Abel Louis, Madeline Miller and grandson Evan Louis.
Jerry is survived by his loving wife of 40 years Sheila Garcia-Louis, children Monica Louis-Alayvilla, Jerrlyn (George) Gregory, Jerrie (Reiko) Louis Jr., Thia (Joe) Maghanoy, sister Rosemarie Lacro, sister-in-law Marie R. Louis, numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-granddaughter, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, Dec. 7, 2024, at Holy Cross Church Kalaheo with visitation from 8:30 to 10:15 a.m., a funeral Mass at 10:30 a.m., and burial to follow at Kauai Memorial Gardens. Flowers are welcomed and casual wear is requested by the family.

Davin Ponce
Davin Ponce, 63, passed away on Nov. 5, 2024, in Kapaa. He was born on March 18, 1961, in Lihue. He was a carpenter and served in the U.S. Army.
Preceded in death by parents Antonio and Margaret Ponce.
He is survived by son Tyran “Ty” (Sy Sagawa) Ponce, daughter Rissy (Victoria Mejia) Ponce and four grandchildren.
