LIHUE — Kauai’s annual Winter Fun Program has opened their online registration for next month.
The Department of Parks and Recreation (DOPR) has announced registration for the county’s Winter Fun Program that opened on Friday, Nov. 15.
The program has been scheduled to begin on Monday, Dec. 23 and will run until Friday, Jan. 3., from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. except on holidays.
Program locations this year include the Kekaha, Kalaheo, and Lihue neighborhood centers along with the Anahola Clubhouse. The Winter Fun Program is open and available to children 5 to 11 years old with the cost of enrollment set at $50 dollars per child and does not include lunch.
Enrollment is limited and will be handled on a first-come, first-served basis. Parents and or guardians will need to provide lunch, beverages, and snacks for their child/children on a daily basis.
