HANAPEPE — Tiffany Gampong, of The Storybook Theatre, invites everyone to “join our Halloween costume contest on Oct. 25 in ‘Hana Pepe’ town during the weekly Friday Night Art.”
The contest presented by The Storybook Theatre will take place in Sparky’s Garden located inside the theater with children 3 to 7 years old showing off their costumes starting at 6 p.m., and adults showing from 7. p.m.
The Storybook Theatre reminds participants that they must be registered before Oct. 25. Online registration can be done by visiting www.storybook.org/costume-registration. All participants must be on-site and checked in 15 minutes ahead of their contest.
Gampong said there will be cash prizes, including $100 for first place in the children’s division, and $200 for first place in the adults division. Cash prizes for second and third places will also be awarded.
“There is an awesome selection of toys from Uncle Henri’s Toy Store,” Gampong said.
All participants will receive prizes from the Hanapepe town merchants and The Storybook Theatre’s Busy Bee Toy Store.
