Patrick ‘Naka’ Keawe Kahikuonamoku Nakaahiki
Patrick “Naka” Keawe Kahikuonamoku Nakaahiki, of Anahola, passed away Aug. 29, 2024, at Gardenisle Healthcare/Wilcox Hospital, he was 77. Patrick was born Dec. 28, 1946, in Lihue, Kauai, to Mary and Libert Nakaahiki. He was a Retired Construction Supervisor having worked for Nakas Construction, Peter Sperry, Browns Trucking and KremCo-Kukuiula Clubhouse.
He was preceded in death by parents Mary and Libert Nakaahiki, “Aunty Phine” Josephine Carrillo, brothers Libert, Wilfred and Wilbert Nakaahiki.
Patrick is survived by Soul Mate of 23 years Deborah Carlotta Valpoon Coleman, children Sean Nakaahiki, Carla, Travis and Mike Coleman, grandchildren Kalen Nakaahiki, Kekai, Kaie, Mehana, Kainoa and Analese Coleman, great-grandchildren Kiaree Nakaahiki, Kaden and Keanu Coleman and sister Vicky Victorino.
A celebration of life will be held on Oct. 12, 2024, at Koolauhuiia Protestant Church in Anahola. Visitation will begin at 9:30, services at 11 a.m. with internment to follow. A reception and lunch will follow the internment. Flowers are welcomed.
Loretta Rapada Agosto
Loretta “Loring” Rapada Agosto passed away on Sept. 1, 2024, at the Queens Wahiawa on Oahu, at the age of 95. She was born on Oct. 3, 1928, in Sinait, Ilocos Sur, Philippines. Retired Private Caregiver and Certified Nurse’s Aide at the Kauai Care Center in Waimea formerly known as Kauai Care Home. A beloved and caring mother, grandmother, sister, friend, and guardian to those that knew her. She loved to sing and dance with her grandchildren. She enjoyed yearly visits to Las Vegas, watching the Hallmark Channel and coloring. She loved to read, whether it was the daily newspaper, the Bible or books on political figures, past and present.
Loretta was preceded in death by husband Fortunato Agosto Sr., father Juan “Apo” Rapada, mother Dominga Raposas Rapada, sons Robert “Aggos” Agosto, Fortunato “Foto” Agosto Jr., grandsons Tyson Pagador and Ryan Yamamoto.
Loretta is survived by her children Kathryn (Dennis) Yamamoto, Ben (Anna) Agosto, Elizabeth “Liz” (George) Kawamura, Jane (Rodney) Williams, Lorna (Tommy) Takayama, Lesley (Michael) Castillo, Brandon Agosto, grandchildren Sherri (Larry) Ephan, Michelle (Kyle) Furutani, Jacy (Pastor Kipi) Higa, Shilum Agosto, Shayla Agosto, Shaun (Jacie) Kawamura, Tia Kawamura, Rory (Jeni Kaohelaulii) Agosto, Megan (Clifton) Ephan, Christian Agosto, Daniel (Rachel) Takayama, Micah Takayama, Hailey Castillo, Alana Williams, Noah Takayama, Mikayla Castillo, 23 great grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren, numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Services will be held on Saturday, Nov. 9, 2024, at the Scared Hearts of Jesus and Mary Catholic Church, 9496 Kaumaulii Highway, Waimea. Visitation with family at 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. followed by Celebration of Life and Mass at 11 a.m. Burial will be private. Casual attire and flowers welcome.
Allan R. Domingo
Allan R. Domingo, 59, of Lihue, passed away on Sept. 11, 2024, at Pali Momi on Oahu. He was born in Manila, Philippines, on Dec. 26, 1964. He was a musician for most of his life playing with bands such as Kainoa Ohana and Jadessence Limited Edition Kauai and at Tree’s Lounge.
He was preceded in death by his father Teddy Domingo.
Allan is survived by his loving mother Lolita R. Domingo, siblings Catherine (Alden) Domingo Sawada, Grace (Eugene) Domingo-Delos Reyes, Danilo “Danny” Domingo, Judy (Gary) Nako, numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Immaculate Conception Church on Saturday, Oct. 19, 2024. Viewing will begin at 9 a.m., Mass at 10 a.m. and burial to follow at Kauai Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home at 11:30 p.m.

Alvin ‘Al’ Tadani
Alvin “Al” Tadani, of Lihue, passed away peacefully at his residence on Sept. 28, 2024, at the age of 65. He was born on April 30, 1959. He retired as the operation manager for Garden Isle Disposal, Inc.
He was preceded in death by parents Makoto and Nora Tadani.
He is survived by brothers Curtis (Miki) Tadani of Kapaa and Terence (Annette) Tadani of Kaneohe. He is also survived by numerous family members.
The family wishes to express their sincere gratitude to his caregivers Nancy and Joe Fontanilla and the wonderful staff of Kauai Hospice especially to Nurse Sequoia and Nurse Aide Elsie.

Harumi Sakai Morita
Harumi Sakai Morita, of Eleele, passed away on Sept. 3, 2024, in Eleele, at the age of 98. She was born on March 24, 1926, in Eleele. She was a sales clerk for Big Save and Ben Franklin in Eleele.
She is survived by her children Rowland Morita (Joan) of Kalaheo, Ora Morita of Eleele, Curtis Morita (Lisa) of Oahu, Karen Morita-Lee (John Hanale) of Kalaheo, Bert Morita (Jan) of Kalaheo, five grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, sister Ruth Emoto of Lihue, numerous nieces and nephews.
A private service will be held on a later date. The family requests no monetary gifts (koden) and expresses their sincere gratitude for your love and support.

Ernie Aluag Tomacder
Ernie Aluag Tomacder, 58, of Lihue, passed away on Sept. 14, 2024, at Wilcox Medical Center. He was born in the Philippines on Jan. 3, 1966.
Preceded in death by parents Ernesto and Rosario Tomacder.
He is survived by spouse Flordeliza “Liza” Laborte, daughters Sheena Parinas, Keenan Tomacder, Taira Tomacder, Jasmine Tomacder, sons Jared Tomacder, Braden Tomacder, Skyller Tomacder, brothers Joevencio Tomacder, Juni (Marilou) Tomacder, Esmer (Resa) Tomacder, Marlon (Pua) Tomacder, sisters Marrietta (Narciso) Garcia, Alma Harrison, numerous nephews and nieces.
Friends may visit with the family on Saturday, Oct. 12, 2024, at Borthwick Kauai Mortuary in Koloa. Visitation begins at 9:30 a.m., service at 10:45 a.m., and burial will follow at Kekaha Public Cemetery at 12:30 p.m.
