Nanny Apalla said the Kauai Resilience Project is not only looking for people who will attend the fun-filled event, they also want volunteer “trunkers” who missed out on the previous offerings. Volunteer trunkers can sign up on https://tgilinks.com/4eGKxiJ.
Sponsorship packages are also available for the annual event for organizations that have shy trunkers, but the desire to help spread the Halloween joy when “Superheros Unite” in the Kukui Grove parking lot from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. to add to the excitement of Friday night. You can take advantage of this opportunity to make a great event even greater by emailing nannie@kauainetwork.org.
And, there is no preregistration needed for Saturday when the County of Kauai and community partners opens the Launch to Fire Prevention Week at the Kauai Philippine Cultural Center from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
This is another family-friendly event where the information and activities benefit everyone (check out some of the fire prevention tips that overlap Falls Prevention).
Just look for the big fire truck that’ll be parked outside.
