LIHUE — An improvement project will disrupt portions of Ninini Point well into next year.
Various work groups with the County of Kaua‘i have scheduled fire mitigation work for portions of Ninini Point through summer 2025.
The mitigation work, which started on Monday, Sept. 23, will allow the groups to maintain the area and cut any unnecessary vegetation, as well as remove any abandoned vehicles and debris.
Motorists and individuals are advised to avoid the area for safety reasons. For more information, call the Roads Division’s main office at 808-241-4847.
