LIHUE — Candidates for the state and county offices will be present on Thursday when the Kauai Island Ministries presents “Kauai Candidate Meet & Greet” at the Kauai Philipine Cultural Center located adjacent to the YMCA pool.
LIHUE — Candidates for the state and county offices will be present on Thursday when the Kauai Island Ministries presents “Kauai Candidate Meet & Greet” at the Kauai Philipine Cultural Center located adjacent to the YMCA pool.
Starting at 6 p.m., people will have an opportunity to meet with candidates and hear them discuss issues of importance prior to the Nov. 5 general election.
According to the Office of Elections, are scheduled to be distributed at least 18 days prior to the election, or starting on Oct. 18. Voters have until Nov. 5 to complete and return their ballots.
During the “structured and moderated event,” people will have the opportunity to draft questions or concerns for candidates to speak on.
