Marie Maxima Dar
Marie Maxima Dar, 57, of Kapaa passed away at home on Dec. 15, 2019. She was born on Kauai on Dec. 6, 1962 was a staff sergeant with the Hawaii Air National Guard.
She was preceded in death by her parents Florencio and Ida Dar.
Marie is survived by her companion Charlotte Kaai, brothers Antone Dar Sr., Frank Dar Jr., numerous aunties, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
A celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, Sept. 28, 2024, at Mahelona Hospital from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m.
Family graciously declines flowers and request donations be made to Kauai Hospice of Mahelona Hospital.

Scott L. Hardwick
Scott L. Hardwick, of Kekaha, passed away on Aug. 24, 2024, on Oahu at the age of 66. He was born on Dec. 23, 1959. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and retired from Corteva Agriscience.
He was preceded in death by father Jerry Hardwick.
He is survived by wife Kate Okihara Hardwick of Kekaha, son Greg Hardwick of Kekaha, daughter Lauren Hardwick of Kauai, grandchild Khat Hardwick-Kaohelaulii, mother Sandra Hardwick of Washington, sister Kandy Jo (Bruce) Bailey of Washington, numerous uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins.
A service will be held on Saturday, Sept. 28, 2024, at the Garden Island Mortuary in Lawai. Visitation begins at 9 a.m., followed by a celebration of life at 10 a.m. Inurnment will follow at 1 p.m. at Kauai Veterans Cemetery in Hanapepe. The family requests casual attire and welcomes flowers.
