Eddiemar Balaan Sagisi
Eddiemar Balaan Sagisi, of Hanamaulu, passed away on Sept. 7, 2024, at the age of 45. He was born in Lihue, Hawaii, on Oct. 31, 1978, and worked as a self-employed landscaper.
Preceded in death by grandparents Justo, Juana and Everesta Sagisi.
Eddiemar is survived by his loving parents Virgie and Rogelio Sagisi Sr., brother Rogelio Sagisi Jr., sister Paityn Sagisi, daughters Evelyn and MiKayla Sagisi, grandparents Leoncio and Laurdes Balaan, numerous aunties, uncles, and cousins.
A celebration of life will be held at Immaculate Conception Church on Wednesday, Sept. 25. Viewing will begin at 8 a.m. with Mass to follow at 10 a.m. Burial to follow at Kauai Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home.

Marilyn ‘Peeper’ Jan Weakley
Marilyn “Peeper” Jan Weakley, of Kauai, passed away on Aug. 21, 2024, in Waimea at the age of 82. She was born on Oct. 19, 1941, in Waimea, Kauai.
She was preceded in death by parents Dr. Burt O. Wade and Mariona Wade, brothers Manly (Pat) Wade and Westley Wade.
She is survived by sons Wade (Marti) Weakley of Texas, Matt Weakley of California, daughters Michelle Hookano of Waimea, Heather Weakley of California, four grandchildren, one great-grandchild and one niece.
A service will be held at a later date.
Garden Island Mortuary is assisting the family with arrangements.
