Jade Sichae Boyd
Jade Sichae Boyd passed away on Sept. 5, 2024, at the age of 57. She was born in Yong Gwang, Korea, on Sept. 16, 1966, and worked at ABC store as a shift manager.
She was preceded in passing by her mother Hwa Sun Mun.
Jade is survived by her children Priscilla Belmodis, Jordan Belmodis, Jade-Lynn Belmodis, father Maurice Boyd and four grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, Sept. 20, 2024, at the Lihue Ward, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints from 6 to 8 p.m.

Manuel ‘Manny’ Stanley Pascua
Manuel “Manny” Stanley Pascua, 85, of Kapaa, passed away on Aug. 12, 2024. He was born in Lihue, Hawaii, on April 8, 1939, and served as a Catholic Deacon under the Diocese of Honolulu.
He was preceded in passing by his wife Carol T. Pascua, siblings Raymondo (Yvonne) Pascua, Alfredo Pascua, Edward (Joyce) Pascua, Delafina Borales and Rudulfo Pascua.
Thank you from his many nieces and nephews.
A service will be held on Saturday, Sept. 28, 2024, at Immaculate Conception Church. Viewing will begin at 8 a.m., with Mass to follow at 10 a.m. Burial to follow at Kauai Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home. The family requests aloha attire and flowers are welcome.

Takako Mizutani
Takako Mizutani, 93, of Waimea, passed away on July 31, 2024, at Kauai Care Center. She was born in Lihue, Hawaii, on June 30, 1931, and retired from the State of Hawaii Department of Accounting and General Services.
She was preceded in death by her parents Akira and Matsuyo Tamura, husband Charles “Chunky” Mizutani and sister Akiko Yamamoto.
Takako is survived by her daughter Dale (Gordon) Hirata, brother Charles (Aki) Tamura and grandson Ryan Hirata.
Private services were held.

Leighton Norio Yamaoka
Leighton Norio Yamaoka, 70, of Lihue, passed away on Sept. 3, 2024. He was born in Hilo, Hawaii, on Dec. 23, 1953, and conducted building maintenance for the State of Hawaii.
He was preceded in passing by his father Norio Yamaoka.
Leighton is survived by his daughter Aleishea (Ben Cheung) Yamaoka, son Keanu (Cherri Coloma) Yamaoka, mother Rose (Harold Matsunaga) Kurita Matsunaga, former wives Marissa Yamaoka, Mila Yamaoka, brothers Norman (Leah) Yamaoka, Marshall (Sheila) Yamaoka, Bert (Michelle) Yamaoka, numerous nieces and nephews.
Private family services were held.

Norma Jean Wilson
Norma Jean Wilson, of Lihue, passed away on Aug. 21, 2024, at the age of 61. She was born in Weymouth, Massachusetts, on Dec. 2, 1962.
She was preceded in passing by her parents Norman and Helen Wilson.
Norma is survived by her son Kevin Wilson, siblings Kenneth (Nancy) Wilson, Linda (Douglas) Hagar, Marilyn (George) Thompson, David (Lynn) Wilson, Janet Wilson, numerous nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life will be held in the future.
