It’s 9/11 and the Patriots Day reflections and tributes to our first responders (especially, police and fire) will take place at the Kukui Grove Center starting at 10 a.m. The event is being presented by the Agency of Elderly Affairs, the AmeriCorps Seniors, Kauai RSVP and the Voluntary Organizations Active in Disaster. This is a great time to learn tips and preparedness information, check out what agencies do during disaster response and check out volunteer opportunities. It’s also the anniversary of Hurricane Iniki
