Jaslen Valdez, the reigning Miss Kaua‘i Filipina 2024, center in blue, was selected as Miss Hawai‘i Filipina 2024 during the United Filipino Council of Hawai‘i convention at the Naniloa Resort in Hilo, Hawai‘i, on Saturday, Aug. 17, 2024. First runner-up was awarded to Charieze Cacayorin, Miss O‘ahu Filipina, right, and second runner-up was awarded to Noelleen Perera de la Rosa, Miss Big Island Filipina, left. According to pageant by-laws, the Miss Kaua‘i Filipina first runner-up, Aleah Yano, will be installed as the new Miss Kaua‘i Filipina position after Valdez was selected as Miss Hawai‘i Filipina.

During the Pop Swap on Saturday, Duane Miyasato finally revealed his new enterprise banner and name, Kalaheodude Streetwear Locker, which has always drawn a crowd for his offerings of footwear, shirts and jackets … did you see the latest “A Social Social Club?”
