Florida M. Robledo
Florida M. Robledo, of Hanama‘ulu, passed away at Garden Isle Healthcare on July 27, 2024, at the age of 89. She was born on Feb. 2, 1935, in Claveria, San Isidro, Cagayan, Philippines, and worked as LPN at Samuel Mahelona Hospital.
She was preceded in passing by her husband Blas Robledo, parents Isidro and Maximiniana Magayano, sisters Flora, Isabel, Rosalina, Josefa and Cecilia.
Florida is survived by her stepchildren Jose (Leonisa) Robledo, Johnny (Lilibeth) Robledo, Raynald (Justine) Robledo, eight grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, Aug. 23, 2024, with visitation from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. at Kaua‘i Memorial Gardens with burial to immediately follow. Casual attire is suggested.
Kaua‘i Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements.
Richard Baruela Aquias
Richard Baruela Aquias, 58, passed away on Aug. 2, 2024, in Lihu‘e. He was born on Aug. 8, 1965, in the Philippines. He was a journeyman carpenter.
He was preceded in death by father Faustino Gandeza Aquias, brother Rolando Aquias and sister Maria Aquias.
He is survived by wife Connie Moises Aquias, daughters Candace (Mauka) Rapozo, Jeanine (Jevin) Aquias, son Aaden Aquias, mother Maria Aquias, sister Lisa (Eddie) Serrano, brother Redentor Aquias and two grandchildren.
A service is Saturday, Sept. 7, 2024, at St. Catherine Catholic Church. Visitation begins at 9:30 a.m., service at 10:30 a.m., and burial will follow at Kalapaki Bay Memorial Park.

Yoshiko Yamasaki
Yoshiko Yamasaki, of Koloa, passed away on Aug. 2, 2024, at the age of 93. She was born in Okinawa, Japan, on April 18, 1931. She was an interpreter.
She was preceded in death by parents Kokei and Aki Gushi.
She is survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
