In the process of rebuilding, Lahaina resident Kim Ball of Komo Mai Street was one of the first to have a concrete foundation poured for his home on Thursday, Aug. 1, 2024. Here he watered down the concrete to help it set.

LAHAINA, Hawai‘i — Kari and Rich Alexander have a goal to celebrate this Christmas with their two children in a new home just like the one they lost in the Lahaina wildfire more than a year ago.
