Celia Mae Fraticelli
Celia Mae Fraticelli, of Kalaheo, passed away at home on July 29, 2024, at the age of 87. She was born on Oct. 6, 1936, on Kaua‘i. She was the owner of Celia Mae’s Hair Styling in Kailua and ‘Ele‘ele.
She was preceded in death by parents Emilio Rivera and Salome Rivera, sister Selma Rivera and brother Bobby Rivera.
She is survived by husband Herman Fraticelli, sons Herman “Rocky” (Theresa) Fraticelli Jr., Allan Mario (Cathy) Fraticelli, Dennis Roy (Ayako) Fraticelli, John Emilio Fraticelli, Carl Edward (Sandra) Fraticelli, Duane Everett (Kanani) Fraticelli, daughter Sally “Venus” (Oliver) Hopkins, brother Charles Rivera, nine grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
Friends may visit the family on Friday, Aug. 23, 2024, at Borthwick Kaua‘i Mortuary in Koloa. Visitation begins at 10 a.m., service at 11 a.m., and burial will follow at Kaua‘i Veterans Cemetery in Hanapepe at 1 p.m.
Borthwick Kaua‘i Mortuary is assisting the family with arrangements.
Trinidad Dela Cruz
Trinidad Dela Cruz passed away on July 9, 2024, in Kapolei, Hawai‘i, at the age of 93. She was born on Oct. 19, 1930, in Santiago, Ilocos Sur, Philippines. She was a housekeeper.
She was preceded in death by husband Constancio Dela Cruz Sr., parents Valentin Manzano and Ramona Manzano, brothers Antonio Manzano, Florencio Manzano, sisters Filomena Manzano, Filomena Manzano, Marcelina Paint, Emilia Cera, and Leonora Astrero.
She is survived by son Mark (Patricia) Dela Cruz, brother Romulo Manzano and three grandchildren.
Friends may visit the family on Friday, Aug. 16, 2024, at St. Catherine of Alexandria Catholic Parish in Kapa‘a. Visitation begins at 9 a.m., Mass at 10:30 a.m., and burial will follow at Kaua‘i Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home in Lihu‘e.
