LIHU‘E — Modified hours to the Records Services and Firearms Registration window have been announced due to the upcoming observance of Statehood Day.
The Kaua‘i Police Department (KPD) said during the weeks with state and county holidays to anticipate the following schedule.
For the week of Aug. 12-16, the records window will be open Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
Furthermore, morning hours are from 8 a.m. to noon, and afternoon hours are from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Firearms registration services will also be available on those days, with morning hours from 8 a.m. to noon and afternoon hours from 1 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.
The records window will be closed on Friday, Aug. 16, in observance of Statehood Day. KPD records window will resume its normal operating schedule on Aug. 19.
