Gary Ueunten, Sandi Kato-Klutke and a Kaua‘i County Farm Bureau team were on a social media blitz during the Pau Hana Market on Monday, where Geraldine Baniaga of Mother’s Filipino Comfort Food had her “Lumpia Make Me Happy” shirt on.
Kudos to Darin Tann and the Keoki’s Paradise crew for hosting all those Hawai‘i Lodging and Tourism Association and Kaua‘i Charity Walk people for the annual funds distribution breakfast, where Tina Albao was still reeling from opening the Boys &Girls Club, St. Theresa Club for elementary school aged members. The teen members still go to the Easter Seals building next to Waimea High School.
Edie Ignacio Neumiller (she had her Catholic Charities hat on with Noelle Lau) said artist Patrice Pendarvis will be appearing at the Dark Horse Roasters (how many of you remember this place from the Koloa Plantation Days?) where a portion of her work will benefit the Zonta Club of Kaua‘i? And Edie’s social media sidekick MJ Akuna was representing the YWCA of Kaua‘i that just hosted a sold-out Never Forget Sandie G golf tournament at the Ocean Course at Hokuala.
More kudos to United Airlines General Manager Wendrick Yee and his United ‘ohana on the 40th anniversary of the air carrier coming to Kaua‘i.
Don’t forget to vote … polls are open until 7 p.m., and you can still drop completed ballots in the drop boxes up to 7 p.m.
