PUHI — A full closure of Hanalima Street in Puhi has begun in order to complete construction roadwork.
The Department of Public Works and Ka‘iwa Construction announced that a full closure of Hanalima Street near the Puhi Industrial Park is necessary to complete the work.
The closure began on Aug. 5 and will remain closed 24 hours a day, seven days a week until Sept. 27, weather permitting.
Traffic will be detoured to Haleukana Street for the duration of the closure. Motorist are urged to drive with caution through the construction area and follow all traffic signs, signals and flaggers.
