Street is one way coming out onto Lawa‘i Road! How come there wasn’t an advisory on that change that quietly happened … Julie said there are a lot of people who are not aware of this.

Marlynn Kamibayashi had her leftover crocheted novelties from the Koloa Plantation Days Park Celebration displayed at The Beach House Craft Fair (good chance to verify the one way Hoona Road … now, where do we turn around without dealing with the bottleneck at the PK’s break?) that Edwin Vea said conflicted with the Wailua Creators Fair (nope, Nataliearth was in Po‘ipu along with Jock Goodman) at the Hilton Garden Inn … How many of you had a chance to check out Donya McKnight and the food truck in the Puhi Industrial Park near Mark’s Place?
Congratulations to Kaira Terui who just won first place for her piece on citizenship from the National Association for Family and Community Education and the CHARACTER COUNTS! (this is a trademarked way of presenting this) competition! Mahalo, Laurie Ho and the Kaua‘i FCE ‘ohana on pushing this through … Kaira took first place in Lihu‘e back in April, then went on to take first at the state level competition to earn eligibility for the national competition.
OK, this is the last bon dance on the Kaua‘i Buddhist Council calendar … Waimea Shingon Mission where food service starts at 4:30 p.m. on Friday and Saturday in Waimea Valley … bon dance starts at 7:30 p.m.
