PO‘IPU — Aarya Tabalno captured top spots in the Open Women and Girls divisions to emerge as a dual winner during the Sixth annual Garden Island Boogie Board Classic, which wrapped up on July 15 with the running of the Papa Paepo‘o division at the Prince Kuhio Beach Park.
Tabalno, who picked up 12.84 points in the finals of the Open Women and 15.20 points in the final heat of the Girls division, joined athletes in the other divisions that wrapped up competition on July 14.
The Boogie Board Classic featured an awards pa‘ina at the nearby Prince Kuhio Park which was presented by Kaikeha.
