LIHU‘E — Veterans living on Kaua‘i who have none or very little knowledge of computers and computer use are welcome to take advantage of Computer 001 on Thursday, July 25 from 9 a.m. to noon at the Kaua‘i Veterans Center.
The free, in-person training is a result of the nonprofit organization, Digital Ready, working with the Kaua‘i Veterans Council. The course will give veterans who have never used a computer, or have very limited access to computer use, an opportunity to learn and practice basic computer skills in order to survive in today’s high-tech world.
“Veterans, please don’t miss this great opportunity,” said retired General Mary Kay Hertog, commander of the Kaua‘i Veterans Council. “Veterans that don’t have a computer may qualify for a refurbished laptop computer. This class is for Kaua‘i veterans with very little to no computer skills that are interested in learning the basics.”
To register, or for more information, veterans are invited to phone 808-246-1135.
