ANAHOLA — A 42-year-old man, who allegedly discharged his firearm in a residential area on the eastside of the island of Kaua‘i, has been arrested by police.
Robert Brownell, of Hanalei, was taken into custody on Monday, June 17, in connection with the incident that happened at approximately 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, June 11, in Anahola, the Kauai Police Department (KFD) said in a report.
Brownell was arrested for the offense of reckless endangering and terroristic threatening in the fire degree. He posted $100,000 bail and was released pending court proceedings. No injuries were reported.
