12 Kaua‘i Fire Department firefighters honored for rescue efforts

Five Kaua‘i Fire Department firefighters — Marc Beeby, Charles Dubocage, Maui Kjeldsen, Frederick Caoagas and Chad Tabuch— represented the 12 firefighters who were recognized and honored by Deputy Fire Chief Roger Mills and the Kaua‘i Fire Commission on Tuesday, June 18, 2024 during the Fire Commission meeting at the Mo‘ikeha Conference Rooms. LIHU‘E — A dozen Kaua‘i Fire Department firefighters were honored for their collective efforts, which led to the rescue of 26 people and two pets during an April rain event that wreaked havoc across the island.
