LIHU‘E — Aloha Dance Studio announced the launch of “Thrive With Movement,” its new nonprofit 501 (c) (3) organization dedicated to providing free and affordable dance programs to the community.
“To kick off this exciting initiative, we are offering a free summer dance program in July designed to make the arts accessible to all families, regardless of their financial situation,” said Tiffany Dick of Thrive With Movement. “Thrive With Movement will offer the same high quality dance programs that Aloha Dance Studio is known for, but at significantly reduced rates.”
The mission of Thrive With Movement is to build up the community by ensuring every child has the opportunity to experience the joy and benefits of dance without financial barriers.
“We believe that every child deserves the chance to thrive physically, mentally and emotionally,” said Pono and Tiffany Dick, the founders of Aloha Dance Studio. “Through Thrive With Movement, we aim to provide a holistic approach to nurturing the next generation, offering not only dance, but also leadership opportunities for middle and high school students.”
In addition to dance classes, Thrive With Movement will feature a special program for middle and high school students focusing on mental and physical health. This program will provide a safe space for teens to express themselves, learn and grow.
Sessions will include guest speakers from various fields, who will share their expertise and support the overall well-being of the students.
“Our summer dance program is just the beginning,” Tiffany said. “We are committed to continuously expanding our offerings and reaching more families in the community. By providing access to the arts, we strive to inspire creativity, foster resilience and build a strong supportive community.”

The free summer program will be held at 4469 Kolopa St., Suite 101 location behind The Home Depot store and adjacent to Gary’s Service.
