Leonida Defuntorum Leones
Leonida Defuntorum Leones, 80, of Lihu‘e, passed away on April 19, 2024. She was born Aug. 24, 1943, in Manguzmana, Binalonan, Pangasinan, Philippines and worked at Host Marriott Restaurant for 23 years.
Preceded in death by her parents Eduardo and Esmerenciana Defuntorum, siblings Romualdo Defuntorum, Mateo Defuntorum, Eusequio Defuntorum, Felomino Defuntorum, Teresita D. Francisco and Hilaria D. Juliano.
She is survived by step children, numerous nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, and cousins.
A celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, June 15, 2024, at Immaculate Conception church with viewing from 8 a.m. and Mass celebrated at 10 a.m. Burial will follow at Kaua‘i Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home.

Floyd ‘Floyd Boy/Fred’ Libre
Floyd “Floyd Boy/Fred” Libre, of Hanapepe, passed away on May 7, 2024, in Hanapepe at the age of 40. He was born on Oct. 30, 1984, in Waimea. He was a Mechanic/Heavy Equipment Mechanic.
Floyd is survived by his parents Floyd Libre, Sr. and Peggy Libre of Hanapepe, sisters Tiffany Libre of Hanapepe, Krystal Libre of Hanapepe, Brittany Libre (Mark Braun) of Hanapepe, hanai brother Ola of Hanapepe, nieces and nephews Kayden, Ky-Mani, Zennen, Ki-Lyn, Lanakila, Makani, numerous uncles, aunts and cousins.
Services will be held on Saturday, June 15, 2024, at Garden Island Mortuary in Lawa‘i. Visitation will be from 9 to 11 a.m. with a celebration of life at 11 a.m. The family requests casual attire and welcomes flowers.

Ernest E. Segismundo, Sr.
Ernest E. Segismundo, Sr., of Lihu‘e, passed away on April 10, 2024, at Kaua‘i Care Center at the age of 86. He was born on Nov. 25, 1937, in the Philippines. He was a veteran of the U. S. Navy.
Ernest is survived by his sons Ernesto Segismundo, Jr. of Brea, California, Relly Segismundo (Marivic) of Kaua‘i, daughters Penchie Cabasag of Kaua‘i, Jannette S. Tacsiat of Kaua‘i, Joann S. Sales (Clarence) of Kaua‘i, grandchildren Valerie Aficial-Yoza (Darrell), Nikko Rey Tacsiat, Ginno Jay Tacsiat, Amalya J. Sales (Coby Lawrence), Isaiah W. Sales, Ralph Segismundo, Mikhaela Segismundo, 3 great-grandchildren, 1 brother, 3 sisters, numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
A service will be held on Friday, May 31, 2024, at the Kaua‘i Veterans Center. The visitation will be held from 9 to 11 a.m. with a celebration of life from 11 a.m. to noon. The family requests casual or aloha attire and flowers are welcome.

Edmundo G. Reyes passed away on Thursday, May 2, 2024, in Lihu‘e, Kaua‘i, at the age of 57 years old. He was born on May 10, 1966, in Lihu‘e, Kaua‘i.
He is preceded in death by his father Bernardo Reyes Sr., nephew Brandon Hedgeman, niece Sarai Ann Reyes and brother-in-law Aliivaa Valaau.
Edmundo is survived by his sons Justin-Troy (Yajaira Serratos) Reyes of Ewa Beach, Hawai‘i, Andrew-James Reyes of Ewa Beach, Hawai‘i, grandchildren Anthony Soto, Eliana Reyes, mother Patricia Reyes of Kapa‘a, Kaua‘i, brother Bernardo (Eliros) Reyes Jr. of Puhi, Kaua‘i, sisters Luisita Valaau of Honolulu, Hawai‘i, Clarissa (Virgilio Bautista Jr.) Reyes of Kapa‘a, Kaua‘i, numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 1, 2024, from 8 to 10 a.m. A mass will begin at 10 a.m. at the St. Catherine Catholic Church in Kapa‘a, Kaua‘i. Burial to follow at the St. Catherines Cemetery in Kealia, Kaua‘i. Family suggests that Aloha Attire to be worn, with colors of Shade of blue or Navy Blue, and flowers are welcome.
