LIHUE — In observance of Memorial Day, the County of Kaua’i announced holiday closures.
The following facilities will be closed on Monday, May, 27:
• County of Kaua’i offices.
• All neighborhood centers
• All refuse transfer stations and the Kekaha landfill will be closed.
• The Puhi Metals Recycling Center and all HI5 redemption centers.
• The Waimea and Kapa’a swimming pools are observing Memorial Day on Tuesday, May 28, and will be closed on that day.
• The Kaua‘i Bus will be operating on its current daily schedule.
Regular business hours for county offices and services will resume on Tuesday, May 28.
