KEKAHA — County of Kaua’i officials are warning beachgoers of Portuguese man o’ war, which was spotted on the westside of the island on Wednesday.
Ocean Safety Bureau (OSB) officials reported they saw a number of Portuguese man o’ wars in waters off Kekaha.
No swimming signs have been posted and beachgoers are urged to heed the warning. Updates will be provided when more information is available.
