The Kaua‘i Beer Company hosted a Ramen Pop-Up with Aaron Matson on Sunday. The event was so successful (er, sold out?), Larry Feinstein said the Kaua‘i Beer Company is opening Do Buta Ramen Pop-Up this Sunday from 11 a.m. until 6 p.m., or until it’s sold out … selections from traditional Shoyu Ramen (with “Make Spicy” option) to Vegan with “Side Dish” and “Add Ons” options. Drinks by the Kaua‘i Beer Company.
Sunday is also the monthly Beach House craft fair that opens from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at lawn and back room section of The Beach House restaurant across from the Lawai Beach Resort. Edwin Vea isn’t saying there can be more than 50 vendors, but he said there is a waiting list of vendors waiting to exhibit at the event that precedes the month Wailua Bay Creators Fair that exhibits at the Hilton Garden Inn.
The Storybook Theatre said tickets for the William Shakespeare 460th birthday party that will take place on Saturday and Sunday in Moloa‘a at Garden Island Chocolate on April 27 are available online at https://www.eventbrite.com/o/2367237474. The party includes selected scenes from “A Midsummer Night’s Dream,” “Hamlet” and “The Two Gentlemen of Verona.” Doors open at 5:30 p.m. with the curtains rising at 6 p.m.
And, for the late risers, the third annual Charity Walk craft fair takes place on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Royal Sonesta Kaua‘i Resort featuring live music, food, plant sale and a host of local vendors.
Saturday is also the Ho‘olaule‘a no ka Honua at the Kaua‘i Community College and the Girl Scouts’ Health Fair at Kukui Grove Center from 2 to 5:30 p.m … does this mean we have Movie Night to follow?
