LIHU‘E — The Department of Parks and Recreation (DOPR) has scheduled mandatory maintenance for County of Kaua‘i campgrounds.
The campgrounds will be closed for upkeep beginning on April 28, and must be cleared and vacant before 10 a.m. on the following days.
• ‘Anini Beach Park Campground will be closed from 10 a.m. Sunday, April 28, and reopens at noon on Saturday, May 4.
• Lydgate Campground will be closed from 10 a.m. Sunday, May 5, and reopens at noon on Saturday, May 11.
• Salt Pond Beach Park Campground will be closed from 10 a.m. Sunday, May 12, and reopens at noon on Saturday, May 18.
• Anahola Beach Park Campground will be closed from 10 a.m Sunday, May 19, and reopens at noon on Saturday, May 25.
Campers with permits may set up in a particular campground after noon on each of the aforementioned Saturdays.
“The Department of Parks and Recreation thanks customers for their patience and cooperation during this scheduled maintenance,” the DOPR said.
