LIHU‘E — Kapa‘a swept its series by winning both the girls and boys tennis series over Waimea during a Kaua‘i Interscholastic Federation (KIF) matchup at Waimea High School on Saturday. In other action, Kaua‘i High School won the boys and girls matches over Island School at Po‘ipu Kai tennis courts on Saturday.
“Both Kaua‘i and Island School were missing some starters due to a media trip to Long Beach, California, and Mock Court on O‘ahu,” said Kauai High School coach Jennifer Hreljac. “The matches were very competitive and fun to watch.”
The next KIF tennis matches are scheduled for March 30 when Kaua‘i High School hosts Waimea at its new tennis courts and Kapa‘a High School hosts Island School teams. The first serve is set to go at 9 a.m.
