Floyd Gregory Machado, 68, of Kekaha, passed away on March 14, 2024. He was born in Lihu‘e, Kaua‘i, on Jan. 26, 1956, and was a welder and crane operator at Kekaha Sugar Company.
Preceded in death by parents Jerry and Angela Machado.
He is survived by siblings Michael (Pilarmina) Machado, Steven Machado, Panny (Russell Ikemoto) Machado, Chad (Joy) Machado, nieces and nephews Michael Machado Jr., Kelsie (Jason Mishima) Machado, Gabriella (Arquilio) Remigio, Xavier “JP” Machado, grandnieces and grandnephews Abigail Kali, Jacey Mishima, Kelson Mishima, Ariella Remigio and Azra Remigio.
Private services will be held.

Christina Eleanor Vidinha, of Lawa‘i, passed away on March 17, 2024, at the age of 86. She was born on Sept. 15, 1937, in Waimea.
She was preceded in death by husband John Vidinha Jr.
She is survived by daughters Christina “Tina” V. Taylor, Veronica Botehlo, sons Matthew J. (Lisa) Vidinha Sr., Dominic Vidinha, Kurt Vidinha, sister Diana Abordo, brother Robert “Bobby” De Costa, seven grandchildren and seven great- grandchildren.
A celebration of life is Wednesday, March 27, 2024, at Borthwick Kaua‘i Mortuary in Koloa. Visitation begins at 1 p.m., followed by service from 2 to 4 p.m.
Borthwick Kaua‘i Mortuary is assisting the family with arrangements.
Frances Natsuko Fujioka
Frances Natsuko Fujioka, 104, of Lihu‘e, passed away at her home on Jan. 3, 2024. She was born on July 17, 1919, in Hanama‘ulu.
She was preceded in death by husband Masao (Mac) Fujioka.
She is survived by sons Roy (Carol), Gary (Rhonda), Eric, daughter Ellen (Jerry) Albarado, nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
A private service was held.

Shannon Roberta Kay
Shannon Roberta Kay, 66, passed away on Friday, Feb. 9, 2024, at her residence in Kilauea. She was born on March 28, 1957, in San Diego, California.
She was preceded in death by parents James and Mary Kay.
She is survived by daughter Nicole (Jon) Garcia of Kaua‘i, one grandchild, brothers Paul Kay, James Kay Jr., Thomas Armstrong, numerous nieces and nephews.
Services were held.

Glenda Vierra
Glenda Vierra, 82, passed away on Thursday, March 14, 2024, in Lihu‘e. She was born on June 11, 1941. She was a baker.
She was preceded in death by parents Anthony Vierra, Angeline Souza-Hirano, son Adam Ronald Brun Jr., great-grandchild Ryker Brun, brother Kenny Vierra and sister Sybil Holt.
She is survived by son Robert Anthony Brun of Kalaheo, daughters Rhonda Ann Brun of Scottsdale, Arizona, Leona Mae Brun of North Dakota, Angela Rose Prigge of Kaumakani, 11 grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, brother Marvin Vierra of North Carolina, numerous uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Services to be held at a later date.
