Delfin Cabot Jr.
Delfin Cabot Jr., age 77, passed away peacefully on March 7, 2024, in Downey, California. He was born on Oct. 9, 1946, at Santa Maria, Iloco Sur, Philippines, to Delfin Cabot Sr. and Sabina Cabot. Delfin grew up in Puhi, Kaua‘i, (old sugar camp). He loved playing the trumpet and was on the Kaua‘i High School Marching Band. He graduated class of 1964, leaving Kaua‘i to attend college in Los Angeles under a music scholarship.
Delfin is survived by his spouse Lourdes. Along with five boys, Tim (Tanya), Duane, Jeremy (Bianca), Greg (Joyce), Marvin (Lynnett). Siblings, Gilbert (Joni), Edwin (Alma), Elsie (James Walker, deceased).

Julia Nanae Kobayashi
July 11, 1939 — January 4, 2024
Julia Nanae Kobayashi, 84, of Lihu‘e, passed away on Jan. 4, 2024. She was born in Honolulu on July 11, 1939. After 31 years (1969-2000) Julia retired from First Hawaiian Bank.
Julia was preceded in death by her husband, Tatsuo Kobayashi, parents Masao Sakai, Gladys Shigeno (Onzuka) Sakai, her sisters Hazel Kikue Fitzgerald, Ethel Masae Okada and her brother Harold Shigeo Sakai.
Julia is survived by her sons Duke Kobayashi of Lihu‘e, Lance (Lisa) Kobayashi of Honolulu, daughters Tammy of Lihu‘e, Darlene (Chris) Reed of Fullerton, California, brother Denny Masami (Arleen) Sakai of Lihu‘e, three granddaughters and numerous nieces and nephews.
A private ceremony was held at Kaua‘i Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home in Lihu‘e.
