Kudos to Larry Feinstein and the Kaua‘i Beer Company crew for hosting the Puppy Happy Hour on Wednesday with the Kaua‘i Humane Society (congratulations, Rebecca Mungall on starting as the KHS Marketing Coordinator!), which is accepting applications for its “Shop and Save Lives” Rummage Sale that is coming on March 30 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at its headquarters just west of the Kipu bypass road. The Kaua‘i Humane Society also announces its Spring Break Critter Camp on March 20 for students in grades one through three, March 21 for students in grades five through eight, and March 22 for students in grades three through five.

Each day’s camp is from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and for more information, or to register, visit www.kauaihumane.org/services/critter-camp/.
On the way to the Kaua‘i Beer Company, you gotta pass by Jim Benkert and Eco E-bikes, which has a lot more room to display some of his not-for-sale treasures … ask him about the incentives available for getting an e-bike. They may be a bit more reasonably- priced.
And if you’re looking to spin the old way, Kaleo Carvalho and the Kaua‘i High School Project Grad are hosting its Amazing Race on Sunday at Island Ride Kaua‘i, starting at noon featuring up to 10 teams of five spinners (it’s on stationary bikes) with prizes for the top three pledge getters, and prizes for the team with the most miles after each rider spins for 15 minutes. Kaua‘i High School seniors can earn free entry to this year’s Project Grad and others have a chance for a one-night stay at the Royal Sonesta Kaua‘i Resort.
All this after the Kaua‘i All-Girls Rodeo Association 25th anniversary opener that starts with the grand entry at the CJM Country Stables (don’t forget the food drive) at 9:30 a.m.
