LIHU‘E — Kapa‘a High School basketball programs were named on Monday to four key positions in the Kaua‘i Interscholastic Federation all-star listing for boys and girls basketball.
LIHU‘E — Kapa‘a High School basketball programs were named on Monday to four key positions in the Kaua‘i Interscholastic Federation all-star listing for boys and girls basketball.
Keaka Kauhane was named Player of the Year for the boys all-star listing with Kamahalo Kauhane getting the nod for Coach of the Year for the boys program, which earned the Central Pacific Bank KIF championship.
Olivia Malafu earned Player of the Year honor for the girls basketball program. Malafu participated with the CPB KIF champion girls basketball team at the state Division II level and finished by being named to the all-tournament team that qualified her to participate in the Mufi Hannemann invitational hoops tournament.
Neil Fagarang earned Coach of the Year honor for the Kapa‘a girls basketball squad.
