PO‘IPU — Kukui‘ula South Shore Kaua‘i recently announced the promotion of Ginny Agena to Vice President of Accounting and Robin Cerny Medeiros to Controller.
Kukui‘ula said combined, Agena and Medeiros have more than 35 years of accounting practice at Kukui‘ula and both have played integral parts in its accounting and financial operations.
Agena, a Kaua‘i girl who joined Kukui‘ula’s accounting department over two decades ago, has been a cornerstone member of the leadership team.
The firm, in a release, said her profound understanding and expertise in real estate accounting are reflected throughout Kukui‘ula’s financial processes. Her promotion to director of accounting four years ago marked a significant step in her career by showcasing her leadership skills and industry knowledge.
In her new role as vice president of accounting, Agena is responsible for overseeing Kukui‘ula’s financial strategy, developing comprehensive budget plans and maintaining the community’s continued financial health.
Medeiros, another Kaua‘i girl, takes on the position of controller. In her new position, Medeiros brings a wealth of real estate knowledge and experience to the accounting department after joining the accounting team in 2006, and serving as assistant controller for nine years where she continued to support Kukui‘ula’s complex accounting functions.
Her key responsibilities include managing account operations, reporting financial information and overseeing transactions.
Medeiros’ attention to detail and analytical skills have been pivotal in enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of Kukui‘ula’s financial operations, the company said.
