LIHU‘E — Mrs. Katherine Hiramoto, a retired kindergarten teacher from Kapa‘a Elementary School, and her husband, Tats, a retired County of Kaua‘i engineer, recently received a visit from Brian Fujiuchi, retired Kaua‘i Police Chief, and his daughter Lauree’ who was visiting from the mainland for the holidays.
LIHU‘E — Mrs. Katherine Hiramoto, a retired kindergarten teacher from Kapa‘a Elementary School, and her husband, Tats, a retired County of Kaua‘i engineer, recently received a visit from Brian Fujiuchi, retired Kaua‘i Police Chief, and his daughter Lauree’ who was visiting from the mainland for the holidays.
Katherine who is 95 years old, was the kindergarten teacher for both Brian in 1953 and Lauree’ in 1979 before her retirement as a teacher.
Lauree’ currently holds an executive position as the director of Human Resources Systems with PENN Entertainment, an American entertainment company and operator of integrated entertainment, sports content and casino gambling.
“Brian, as you know, is a retired Kaua“i Police Department chief of police and is the president and CEO of Fujiuchi Investigations, Inc.,” said MaBel Fujiuchi. “Both Brian and Lauree’ have professionally succeeded, in part, I’m sure of, due to Mrs. Hiramoto’s start and foundation in their respective educational journeys.”
